2024 Beijing Auto Show| Showcasing Baic Newest BJ Models

Auto China 2024, also known as the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, is a major event in the global automotive industry, held biennially in Beijing, China. It serves as a platform for automakers to showcase their latest innovations and technologies, with a focus on electric vehicles (EVs) and sustainable mobility solutions. Concept cars, advanced EVs, and discussions on industry trends are prominent features of the show, making it vital for automakers aiming to tap into the growing Chinese market. After a hiatus since 2018 due to the pandemic, the exhibition returned strongly this year, 2024, in its 18th edition.”. It showcased the latest advancements in automotive technology, with focus on electric vehicles and integrated artificial intelligence systems.

BAIC participated in the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show under the theme “Driving Towards the Hybrid Era” by showcasing the latest models of modified and new BJ cars, including the BJ30 hybrid, which was announced to be pre-sold this year, and the hybrid versions of the BJ60 and BJ40 equipped with powerful drivetrain.

The Baic BJ30 hybrid car has made a significant impression as a hybrid car that blends gasoline and electric power to redefine the driving experience responsibly, without compromising on performance. With dimensions measuring 4,730 × 1,910 × 1,790 mm and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm, and featuring five multi-functional leather seats, the BAIC BJ30 hybrid represents a crossover vehicle that combines SUV and sedan features. Its hybrid capability improves fuel efficiency to 6.45 liters per 100 kilometers while reducing emissions, in addition to featuring a real-time four-wheel-drive system that enhances traction and stability while minimizing environmental impact, demonstrating BAIC’s commitment to sustainability and strong performance.

In addition to the eye-catching exterior design, characterized by LED headlights and taillights, a panoramic roof, and exterior mirrors with welcome lighting, the interior of the BJ30 boasts a 14.6-inch central screen, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a multifunctional leather steering wheel, and ambient multi-color lighting, creating a luxurious and modern cabin.

The BAIC BJ30 is equipped with electronic brake assist, multiple driving modes, electronic stability control, hill descent control, air quality monitoring system, smartphone connectivity, and a range of safety systems such as lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking. All these features make the BAIC BJ30 hybrid an irresistible choice in its class, combining strong performance, environmental efficiency, and advanced technologies to ensure a superior driving experience.

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, both the Baic BJ40 and BJ60 made their debut in their new electric versions. These models represent the next evolution in Baic’s commitment to electrifying the off-road experience while maintaining the strong power and reliability customers expect from the BJ series by Baic.

The electric version of the BJ60 delivers the same legendary off-road performance as its gasoline counterpart, with additional advantages such as electrification and changes to the car’s interior and exterior design to accommodate its transition to an electric vehicle. Thanks to the wide-ranging Electric Range Extender Vehicle (EREV) system, the BJ60 Electric version ensures ample power and range to conquer even the most challenging terrains.
